Born in Maranhão and raised in Bahia, Abigail carries in her sound the cultural, spiritual, and social strength of the territory where she grew up. Her deep connection, from a very young age, with the Pataxó indigenous people in southern Bahia permeates her artistic identity, reflecting a vibrant, sensitive, and pulsating music. Abigail translates collective memories into sonic textures that balance tradition and contemporaneity.
